Common Ground Dove
Photographed near the Salton Sea, Imperial County, California. The first image appears to be a pair (male on the right?) who were snuggling under a bush at the Visitor's Center!
White-winged Dove
California
Most commonly a desert bird in the southwest, but occasionally seen in my local mountains and points west in San Diego County. Images 1 - 4 are from the Cuyamaca Mountains, and Images 5 and 6 are from Borrego Springs, both in California.
Arizona
All of these images are from Tucson Mountain Park, except the last, which is from Patagonia, Arizona.
Band-tailed Pigeon
A western bird, common in my local Cuyamaca Mountains. All the images below are from those mountains.
