Yellow-rumped Warbler
In Southern California, this species is found in just about all habitats, from the deserts to the mountains to the foothills to the coastal plain. Images 1 and 2 are of birds photographed in Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California. Image 3, showing the prominent yellow rump patch, was photographed in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, California. The last two images are from Rancho Bernardo, California (a community in San Diego).
