Western Gray Squirrel
Image 1 is a female that would regularly visit a bird feeding station in the Cuyamaca Mountains. The remaining images were taken near the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley, California. They were photographed in January, and the squirrels were busily digging up acorns that they had cached and eating them.
